The State Preemption/Apiculture Bill 1197 a.k.a. "Beekeeper Protection Bill"  signing with Florida Governor Scott at his office, Tallahassee, FL.   This bill gives the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) exclusive authority to regulate beekeeping suits, apiaries and their locations.  FSBA representatives were invited to the governor's office to take part and witness the event.   View the Actual Statue 586.10 .

Beekeeper suits provide protection against bee stings.
